Música Argentina
Música Argentina features the great performers on Guitar from Argentina: Roberto Aussel, Juan Falú, Ricardo Moyano and the duo Macondo (Enno Voorhorst, the Netherlands and Mikhail Zemtsov, Mexico)
The international concert tour of Música Argentina was organised and sponsored by SCHARPACH Guitars in cooperation with Senf Management responsible for the tour management.
The program started with pieces from Tango de Histoire of Piazzolla for Viola (Mikhail Zemtsov) and Guitar (Enno Voorhorst). The colourful sound of the Viola reflects sometimes the character of the bandoneon which made the performance of both players very colourful and unique.
Before the intermission Oblivion was arranged for 4 guitars and viola which exceptional combination worked very well and unavoidably touches you.
The impressive interpretation of Roberto Aussel playing the pieces from the Argentinean Indian and composer Atahualpa Yupanqui was for most of the audience a sensation. They may have never have heard a classical guitar sound this way: sometimes as soft as one single raindrop falling on stage, and these incredible colours that only Roberto Aussel seems to be able to produce.
Juan Falú and Ricardo Moyano played mostly in duo and the audience may have noticed why. Ricardo Moyano is one of those gifted players that lift others even to a higher level of performance. Adding carefully small accents and phrases in between are just making the difference. He only once took a solo piece in which the audience could experience his incredible timing and virtuosity.
The singer and exceptional guitarplayer Juan Falú has become in Argentina already a legendary status. His powerful sonorous voice and guitar playing possess an inner strength and energy and is reflecting a contemplative universal language. You cannot avoid this music; it reaches out inviting you to listen.
We are truly proud that we were able to organise this small tour for these great exceptional musician and we hope that all of you who came and visited the concerts had truly a good time.
