Performance John van der Veer at the Amnesty International Film Festival

The 10th Amnesty International Film Festival will take place at the prestigious Tropentheater in Amsterdam on March 26-30, 2008. The opening of the festival on March 26 will be the première of 'Anna, seven years at the Frontline', a film by Russian director Masha Novikova. The music of this documentary is written by Dutch composer and guitarist John van der Veer. Before the start of the movie, the guitarist will accompany Russian singer Raïsa Pintsjik in a traditional Russian folk song. John van der Veer performs on his Theo Scharpach Dolphin Jazz (picture below).
